What Our Business Management Service Is All About

 
The Business Management Service is a comprehensive service program we provide for our small and medium sized business clients who have made the decision to take their business to the next level.  It is tailored to your needs to provide you with information and support that will help you manage your business more profitably.
 
We'll review your past financial records using a specially designed analytical tool that will help us identify areas for improvement.  Based on that analysis, we'll meet with you for one hour to show you the profit and cash flow potential of your business. You will not be charged for this initial consultation.
 

How The Business Management Service Works

 
First, we work with you to determine a profit goal you would like to aim for. This obviously has to be realistic, but it should also be a challenging goal.
 
We then explore the ways in which you could approach that profit target. Specifically, we ask you to complete a brief Business Development Questionnaire that will help identify your business' scope to build revenues and profit.  You will be amazed at what you discover from this element of the program.
 
Then we help you define specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are critical to the success of your business and keep you focused on the things you must get right.
 
We review your KPIs monthly, and then undertake a total quarterly review of your Management Plan.  This service ensures that you always have a planning goal to work toward and you are able to see at a glance how you are doing.
 
 
The Business Management Services incorporate the following elements:
 
  • A 12-month cash flow projection and profit plan. This includes identifying key result areas to monitor performance within your business.
  • Monthly KPI review. Comparison and review against your targeted KPIs.
  • Quarterly financial statements review and plan rollover. We review your financial statements and analyze variations against the budget.  We then recast your financial projections for the next 12 months.  That way, you’re always looking forward.
  • Year-end tax planning review (final quarter). In the final quarter of your fiscal year, we review your year-end tax planning options.  This way, you avoid a last-minute rush to put tax-driven strategies in place, which often come unglued and frequently cause more trouble than they’re worth.
  • Annual taxation returns. We prepare all required tax returns for your business and any related individuals.
  • Unlimited access to advice on ad hoc matters. You may call us any time for advice on ad hoc matters, knowing that we won’t charge you for that advice.  This is subject to the understanding that if an occasion of services exceeds 30 minutes, you will be charged but only after we have consulted with you and only if you feel that you received value from the consultation. 
  • Free invitation to our annual client seminar and special training programs. This brings you up-to-date with developments in taxation and business management.  All clients who invest in our Business Management Service are automatically enrolled in the next scheduled Practical Financial Management program, a hard-hitting training program where we review the underlying principles of business financial management.  It is designed specifically for non-financial people.
  • Periodic client newsletters. This newsletter contains useful advice about management and current taxation issues.  From time to time, we will also send you special reports relevant to your business.
  • A fixed fee. This fixed fee is established with you in advance and payable monthly.  This way, there are no surprises for you.  By paying our fee monthly, you’ll find it much easier to plan for your cash flow.
